
ABOUT CAFE RONEL

Café RonEl is situated in the glorious southern hills of Hevron overlooking the Judean Dessert, and was established in the year 2014. Café RonEl is located within an intimate Yeshuv, Mitzpeh Yair. The Cafés' location has wonderful historical and Biblical significance. The farm is believed to have been built upon an Ancient Roman road, leading up to the Ancient city of Chevron, today called Rumeidah. A five minute drive from the Café will take you to the Ancient town of Susya, a beautiful Talmudic village. Located only an hour away, is the Holiest city in the world, Jerusalem.
On the east side of this quaint little farm, the Moab Mountains of Jordan can be seen, beautiful and majestic. To the north lies Hebron, where the Cave of the Patriarchs are found. South is the cosmopolitan city of Beir Sheva which hosts Abrahams Well. And to the west lies the Mediterranean sea.

Young and upcoming artists are given a platform to entertain on Thursday evenings and Market days that show off the creativity of the community is held on Rosh Chodesh. Contact us for more information.
Our café is a Certified Kosher Café, ready to serve guests and tourists who come to visit this wonderful area. Come and experience the hills where King David and Avigail began their story and where the 12 Israelite spies walked to enter the Holy Land.

The Barak Family
The Barak family moved to Israel in October 2012, to realize a life long dream. Their adventure began in the town of Susya and moved to their current location in 2014. Their passion is to re-establish and preserve the beauty of the land together with the constant growth and development of the Yeshuv.

Their passion for people and good food has lead the family to extend their farm and café to include affordable Camping for adventurous tourists and youths in July 2017. Campers and guests from many destinations come to enjoy the scenic views of Mitpeh Ya'ir and the beauty of Judea.

Passion and a love of Israel is etched deep within this families heart.
